Mental Health Support Officer
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Mental Health professional who will be able to assess and support a wide range of students with mental health needs. The successful candidate will need to be a qualified mental health practitioner with experience of working with clients presenting severe, complex and/or enduring mental health needs. As an integral part of the Safeguarding team, the post holder will work closely with the Counselling and Mental Health team to keep students engaged in College life while keeping them safe.
Learning Support Practitioners
The successful candidates will contribute to achieving excellence in supporting students through innovative and excellent practice. You will be expected to support students of all ages with a wide range of learning difficulties and/or disabilities (moderate learning difficulties, physical/mental/ sensory/specific learning difficulties/disabilities to name a few). The purpose of support is to remove barriers to learning and access, improving participation and achievement, fostering confidence and independence among students. You will support students at all levels, from Level 1 through to L4, and offer effective and consistent support to enable students to reach their potential.
The successful candidate will be educated to at least Level 2 or above and have proven relevant experience of supporting students in an educational setting coupled with knowledge and understanding of disabilities and/or learning difficulties
Hourly rates of pay are:
Mental Health Support Officer £14.68
Learning Support Practitioners £12.08
