We are a leading and long established media and performing arts school that offers high quality provision making opportunities in acting, dance and musical theatre. We have over 150 students HE students on programme studying on performing arts pathways from Level 2 up to BA (Hons) Degrees.
Our courses are focused on ensuring students gain the practical skills & expertise to forge a path of employment in the performing arts industry. Currently, we specialise in a range of specialisms including acting styles, acting for screen, devising, work with industry specialists with acting, dance and musical theatre.
In order to facilitate this, we have a dedicated team of tutors who are all industry specialists with an excellent working knowledge of the performing arts industry and its current state of play. The Department has developed it our Theatre company which has many external and internal events.
Further to this, the courses have been designed by staff to provide a creative and supportive environment with a commitment to diversity and inclusion to help all students reach their potential. Our location in the centre of one of the most vibrant music cities on the planet with a fantastic musical heritage, offers our students the chance to experience and participate in a music scene that is renowned world-wide.
